Could this be pregnancy-induced hemorrhoids?
I'm 40 weeks pregnant I've been very blessed to have a symptom-free pregnancy up until now... However 2 days before my estimated due date (EDD) I woke up in the morning and my rectal area was extremely itchy and painful feeling... I've never felt anything like this ever before and quite frankly I'm worried about it! I don't know how to describe this without being very straight-forward so pardon me if my language offends anyone 
Basically the area itches, burns, and hurts. I looked at it in the mirror (as best as I could anyway!) And it looks like an inflamed "butthole wrikle" or possibly a swollen vein. It's only on one side and a very small area (thank God!)
I just always thought that hemorrhoids were a big external "pocket"- which is why I'm wondering if this could be a small hemorrhoid from the baby having dropped into the birth canal?? (If it makes a difference: I've been dilated to 2 cm. for 2 weeks now with 70-80% effacement)
-I'm wondering if a vaginal child birth will aggravate this problem further?
-I'm also wondering if this will completely resolve on it's own following the birth, or will I need to see a doctor about it- and my question is who do I see about it?
-Also, what remedies can I use in the meantime?
1 It's a Hemorroid. Because of the pressure from the baby. Your dr.should be able to tell you what to do to treat it.
Embarrassing…Possible hemorrhoids during pregnancy?
I am 34 weeks and this is my second pregnancy. I never experienced this with my first. I'm carrying really low so I'm thinking this has something to do with it? My "bottom half" is really sore & sometimes burns. It hurts to walk or sit & it kept me up all night last night. I haven't been (TMI) constipated lately so I don't know why they came. I have a doctor's appt on Wednesday but was wondering if there is something I can do in the meantime or any signs that I can tell if this is what they are? Any one else experience this and can give me some signs that this may be hemorrhoids? Any advice is appreciated!

1 Probably constipation my husband just had to deal with all of that. Turned out it was hemorrhoids, but you should probably go to dr. just to be sure.
